Land Acknowledgement

As we come together for the Indigenous Speaker Series, we recognize that we are on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Puyallup people and the Muckleshoot, Nisqually, Suquamish, and Duwamish. We acknowledge the land, all our Indigenous connections, and the histories of dispossession and forced removal that allowed for the growth and survival of this nation and institution. Therefore, we take it upon ourselves to actively seek justice and partner with our Indigenous relations and neighbors to foster a vibrant and equitable community of learners, leaders, and educators.
