Hōkūlani Rivera is a Kanaka Maoli woman from Pauoa Valley, Oʻahu. Through her undergraduate career at Western Washington University, she continued to develop a passion for Indigenous Justice that had blossomed in her childhood as she learned of Hawaiʻi’s history before and under colonial occupation.
