Amy Gustafon

Bio
 

Amy Gustafson (Gwichyaa Zhee Gwich'in) holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Otto von Guericke Universität and is a doctoral candidate in the Educational Leadership EdD program in the Muckleshoot cohort at the University of Washington Tacoma. An award winning educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in the United States and abroad, Gustafson currently serves as Associate Dean of Student Support Programs at Skagit Valley College. She is the faculty advisor for the First Nations Club and the Powwow Chair for the All My Relations Powwow. Her research focuses on institutional change through a place based Shijyaa Haa leadership framework, exploring decolonization and systems change to support Native student success.
