Dr. Montgomery created Indigenous Knowledge and Community Conversations in 2015, with a School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Teaching and Research Award from University of Washington Tacoma. The Indigenous Speaker Series (the Series) is an expansion of Michelle’s on-going community initiatives.
